Both production machines and devices, in order to produce in accordance with the assumed quality standards, require precise settings with the tolerance established by the manufacturer. Sometimes from several to several dozen machines cooperate with each other, creating a technological line. In order for the entire process to run correctly, all these machines and devices involved in the production process must be properly levelled and aligned with each other, with the greatest accuracy, because the lack of correct setting affects the correct operation of these devices, which in turn translates into production losses, quality defects, rapid wear of parts and components, unforeseen downtime in production, and also pose a threat to the life and health of employees. The setting process is necessary for newly created technological lines as well as for existing ones, which require periodic inspection caused by, for example, repairs, failures or replacement of components, which must be precisely set with respect to each other after replacement.
In order to correctly set up a given piece of equipment, you need to use the right equipment. The most accurate measuring devices currently on the market are laser devices, which allow for precise setting of the machine geometry in several planes while maintaining the required tolerance. Professional devices that guarantee precision of setting are very expensive, and for companies that do not need to perform such measurements on a daily basis, purchasing such a device is unjustified.
