Moving machines and devices is not done on the ground floor only. Some production plants run their production in multi-storey buildings on different floors. Then it becomes essential to put the necessary machines and devices to the first, second or even third floors. At PS&MS sp.z o.o. we provide such services, as well. We do so by using stationary platforms or by means of mobile gondola lifts.
Moving machines upstairs using a stationary platform.
We set up the platform directly next to the building where the machines or devices are to be placed. The platform height is adjusted to the level onto which we want to transfer the equipment. The maximum possible working height of the platform is 10 m. The advantages of such a solution include the possibility of setting a platform with much larger dimensions than the dimensions of the inserted equipment. This enables us to move freely around the equipment, which makes our work much easier. An additional advantage is the high load capacity, which, depending on the height, can reach up to 30,000 kg.
Moving machines upstairs with a gondola lift.
We introduce machines with a gondola lift using a crane. The gondola is attached to the crane block by means of spreader beams and raised to the desired height. Depending on the technical parameters of the crane and weather conditions, the maximum working height may be up to 30 m. The size and weight of the lifted equipment, however, is limited and depends on the size and load capacity of a given mobile platform. We currently have mobile platforms with the following parameters:
- Mobile platform (gondola) with dimensions of 6.0 m x 3.0 m and a load capacity of 15 tons
- Mobile platform (gondola) with dimensions of 7.5 m x 4.5 m and a load capacity of 25 tons
